LPCS Washington D.C. Webpage 2010
This page is dedicated to all information related to the Washington D.C. Trip. It will be updated with pictures throughout our stay, so please check back.
The LPCS Washington D.C. Trip will take place from March 9th thru March 12th, 2010. Bus leaves LPCS @ 6:00 am sharp on March 9th. Parents are responsible for getting their child to the bus on time and picking them up after we return to LPCS.

Tuesday, March 9, 2010
- Depart from LPCS @ 6:00 a.m.
- Lunch in route at service area
- Arrive in Washington @ 2:30 p.m. +/-
- National Zoo (hour and a half to two hours)
- Memorials – One Stop and kids will walk
- Lincoln
- World War II
- Korean
- Vietnam
- FDR Memorial
- Travel to Hotel (Clarion Inn in College Park, Maryland)
- Dinner at Pizza Hut (Walking Distance of Motel)
Wednesday, March 10, 2010 - AREA TOURING
- Breakfast
- Mount Vernon – Arrive At 9:00
- Lunch (At either Mt. Vernon or Air and Space Museum)
- Arlington (Noonish)
- Marine Memorial (15 minute stop)
- Museum of American History
- Dinner at Old Country Buffet
- Laser Tag Arrive @ 8:30 p.m.
- Return to Motel
Thursday, March 11, 2010 - AREA TOURING
- Breakfast (Leave Motel at 8:30)
- Jefferson Memorial
- National Archives (10:00 a.m.)
- Lunch
- Capitol Tour @ 1:10
- New Air and Space Museum
- Dinner in Dulles at Dulles Town Center
- Return to Motel
Friday, March 12, 2010
- Breakfast @ 7:00 a.m.
- Room Check @ 7:45 a.m.
- Depart for LPCS @ 8:00 a.m.
- Visit Battleship New Jersey 11:00 a.m.
- Lunch in route at service area or near battleship
- Return to LPCS @ 6:00 p.m
